The Private Financing Advisory Network

The Private Financing Advisory Network (PFAN) is a multilateral, public-private partnership initiated by the Climate Technology Initiative (CTI) in cooperation with the UNFCCC Expert Group on Technology Transfer.

PFAN was established to bridge the gap that exists between investors and financiers on the one hand, and entrepreneurs and project developers on the other. PFAN targets clean energy projects that may be suitable for private-sector finance at an early stage and then acts as a project financing coaching and consultancy service to guide such projects to bankability and financial closure.

PFAN identifies promising clean energy projects and provides mentoring for development of a business plan, investment pitch, and growth strategy, significantly enhancing the prospects for financial closure. Projects may be proposed for inclusion in the PFAN development pipeline at any time. Proposals can be written in any suitable form to include a project description, and an overview of the project economics and feasibility. Templates for the suggested format and content of proposals can be downloaded from the resources section of this website. Further guidelines for the submission of proposals are available by contacting PFAN.
